The Apollo Aachen is a versatile venue that combines cinema, culture, and nightlife. During the day and early evening, it is a sophisticated arthouse cinema with a diverse range of films—from arthouse and independent films to themed series and special events. In the evening, the Apollo transforms into a nightclub with a lively atmosphere.
What I did:
- Custom arthouse theme for Planetmutlu’s cinema white label solution
- User interface design based on customer requirements and budget in Figma, followed by implementation with Elementor
- Comprehensive design consultation
- Project management
- Custom adjustments via custom code
- Training with the Apollo team
This could be improved:
- Unfortunately, despite my repeated emphasis, Planetmutlu’s cinema white label solution is still not accessibility compliant…
- Some proposed UX and UI improvements were unfortunately rejected due to customer requests and budget constraints.
- The lack of flexibility in Planetmutlu’s cinema white label solution limits the user experience in several areas.
